With the win, Liberty Christian improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Rustburg (Rustburg, VA) to encounter the Red Devils in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. The Red Devils go into the test with a record of 2-2.

The Pioneers now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Halifax County for a non-league test on Monday, September 16. Heritage will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Mecklenburg County (Baskerville, VA). The Comets record now stands at 2-4.
