The Somerset Briar Jumpers smashed the host East Jessamine Jaguars soccer squad by a score of 8-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Briar Jumpers (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Casey County (Liberty, KY). The Rebels enter the District 47 battle with a 2-10 record.

Next up, the Jaguars confront the Model Patriots (Richmond, KY) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 17. East Jessamine will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 4-2 league loss to Madison Central (Richmond, KY).
