In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Northern Guilford Nighthawks soccer squad scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Eastern Guilford Wildcats.

The Nighthawks (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Page (Greensboro, NC). The Pirates go into the Metro 4A outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Page Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC), 3-3, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) in a Mid-State 3A outing, on Tuesday, September 17. Eastern Guilford will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
