Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC), 10-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Holmes advances its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Aces travel to Manteo (Manteo, NC) to clash with the Redskins in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A test on Monday, September 16. The Redskins come into the test with a record of 4-5. Manteo lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA)

The Panthers now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Camden County for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A test on Monday, September 16. Pasquotank County will clash with a Bruins team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC). The Bruins record now stands at 9-0.
