Spackenkill Spartans (Poughkeepsie, NY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting New Paltz Huguenots (New Paltz, NY), 4-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Spackenkill moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Saugerties (Saugerties, NY) to clash with the Sawyers in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Sawyers come into the test with a record of 2-1. Saugerties won 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Onteora (Boiceville, NY)

The Huguenots now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marlboro Central for a Section 9 Division II test on Monday, September 16. New Paltz will clash with a Dukes team coming off a 2-1 league win over Highland (Highland, NY). The Dukes record now stands at 1-2.
