The Stephens County Indians softball team scored 19 runs and held the host East Jackson Eagles to 1 in the Indians league win on Thursday.

The Indians now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin County for a 2A Region 8 battle on Tuesday, September 17. Stephens County will confront a Lions team coming off a 7-4 league loss to Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA). The Lions record now stands at 12-8.

With the loss, East Jackson moves to 6-8 on the season. The Eagles host Hart County (Hartwell, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a 2A Region 8 battle on Tuesday, September 17. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 5-8. Hart County lost 10-0 in their recent league battle against Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA)
