Colorado High School Softball - Rocky Mountain knocked off by Fossil Ridge

The Fossil Ridge SaberCats routed the host Rocky Mountain Lobos softball team by a final score of 15-0 in Thursday's league match.

The SaberCats (5-8) will now prepare for their match against Fort Collins (Fort Collins, CO). The Lambkins come into the 5A/4A Northern match with a 7-8 record. In their last match, Fort Collins notched a victory over Poudre (Fort Collins, CO), 12-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Lobos battle the Legacy Lightning (Broomfield, CO) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 17. Rocky Mountain will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Lightning come into the match with a 2-12 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Rock Canyon (Highlands Ranch, CO).
