In Thursday's league test, the Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA), by a tally of 12-0.

Next, the Hawks clash with the Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 13. Hillgrove will attempt to advance on its 13-6 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 7-6 record after their 8-0 league loss to Northside (Columbus, GA).

The Eagles (5-13) will now prepare for their test against Marietta (Marietta, GA). The Blue Devils go into the non-league test with a 0-19 record. In their last test, Marietta was routed by North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA), 17-3, in a league test.
