The Lumpkin County Indians softball squad (Dahlonega, GA), was routed 7-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting North Hall Trojans (Gainesville, GA)

With the triumph, North Hall improves its record to 12-6 on the year. The Trojans host Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA) to face the Tigers in a 3A Region 6 contest on Monday, September 16. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 11-10. Dawson County lost 16-13 in their recent league contest against Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA)

The Indians now hold a 12-7 record. They play next when they host Commerce for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 14. Lumpkin County will face a Tigers squad coming off a 7-4 league win over Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-11.
