Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA), 7-4 in a league game.

With the triumph, Madison County improves its record to 7-9 on the year. The Red Raiders travel to Elbert County (Elberton, GA) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Monday, September 16. The Blue Devils enter the game with a record of 7-9.

The Titans now hold a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Walnut Grove for a 4A Region 8 game on Tuesday, September 17. North Oconee will play a Warriors squad coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Buford (Buford, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-11.
