The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Millard South Patriots (Omaha, NE) and the visiting Marian Crusaders (Omaha, NE), observed Millard South's softball team get by Marian by a final score of 9-3.

The Patriots (4-11) will now prepare for their bout against Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE). The Monarchs go into the non-league bout with a 12-3 record. In their last bout, Papillion-LaVista tipped Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE), 2-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Omaha Westside Warriors (Omaha, NE) in a A District bout, on Tuesday, September 17. Marian will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Millard North (Omaha, NE).
