Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA) and the visiting Cross Creek Razorbacks (Augusta, GA), observed Academy of Richmond County's volleyball team top Cross Creek by a count of 2-0.

The Musketeers (15-1) will now prepare for their contest against Harlem (Harlem, GA). The Bulldogs enter the 3A Area 4 contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Harlem was knocked off by Burke County (Waynesboro, GA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Razorbacks battle the Harlem Bulldogs (Harlem, GA) in a 3A Area 4 contest, on Thursday, September 12. Cross Creek will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 8-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Burke County (Waynesboro, GA).
