Garland Christian Academy Swordsmen (Garland, TX) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Alcuin Hawks (Dallas, TX), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Garland Christian Academy advances its record to 5-7 on the season. The Swordsmen host Ovilla Christian (Red Oak, TX) to face the Eagles in a test on Tuesday, September 24. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 22-5.

The Hawks now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Faith Lutheran for a non-league test on Friday, September 13. Alcuin will face a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Faustina Academy (Irving, TX). The Lions record now stands at 1-4.
