North Carolina High School Volleyball - South Mecklenburg over Ballantyne Ridge

September 12, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28210

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Ballantyne Ridge Wolves (Charlotte, NC), observed South Mecklenburg's volleyball team top Ballantyne Ridge by a tally of 3-0.

The Sabres (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs enter the So Meck 4A contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Myers Park beat Berry (Charlotte, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Wolves meet the Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 17. Ballantyne Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Pirates enter the contest with a 5-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC).
