In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Warren East Raiders volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Barren County Trojans.

The Raiders (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Glasgow (Glasgow, KY). The Scotties enter the District 15 challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Glasgow was beaten by Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the Caverna Colonels (Horse Cave, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 16. Barren County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Colonels enter the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Green County (Greensburg, KY).
