North Carolina High School Volleyball - C.B. Aycock tips Smithfield-Selma

The C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC) volleyball held off the visiting Smithfield-Selma Spartans (Smithfield, NC), 3-2 in Thursday's league bout.

The Golden Falcons now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Princeton for a non-league bout on Monday, September 16. C.B. Aycock will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-2 league win over Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Smithfield-Selma drops to 1-10 on the campaign. The Spartans host East Wake (Wendell, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a Quad County 3A bout on Tuesday, September 17. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 4-7.
