In Thursday's league match, the Chancellor Chargers (Fredericksburg, VA) volleyball squad overcame the visiting James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Chargers battle the Courtland Cougars (Spotsylvania, VA) in a Battlefield match, on Tuesday, September 17. Chancellor will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 5-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA).

The Yellow Jackets (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Armstrong (Richmond, VA). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Armstrong was outscored by Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA), 3-0, in a league match.
