The Crandon Cardinals prevailed the visiting Elcho Hornets volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Cardinals face the Waupun Warriors (Waupun, WI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 14. Crandon will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 5-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Berlin (Berlin, WI).

The Hornets now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Three Lakes for a Northern Lakes test on Tuesday, September 17. Elcho will face a Bluejays squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Weyauwega-Fremont (Weyauwega, WI). The Bluejays record now stands at 5-11.
