With the win, East Carter advances its record to 8-6 on the season. The Raiders host Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 1-9. Menifee County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY)

The Lions now sport a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Robertson County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. Lewis County will face a Black Devils squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Williamstown (Williamstown, KY). The Black Devils record now stands at 8-7.
