North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Carteret crushed by Pamlico County

In Thursday's league match, the Pamlico County Hurricanes (Bayboro, NC) volleyball squad overcame the visiting East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Hurricanes battle the Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC) in a Coastal Plains 1A/2A match, on Tuesday, September 17. Pamlico County will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 2-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC).

The Mariners (4-9) will now prepare for their match against Southside (Chocowinity, NC). The Seahawks enter the Coastal Plains 1A/2A match with a 3-9 record. In their last match, Southside notched a victory over Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC), 3-0, in a league match.
