The Panthers (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Linden-Hubbell (Lake Linden, MI). The Lakes enter the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Lake Linden-Hubbell beat Johnston (Bessemer, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Purple Hornets meet the North Dickinson Nordics (Felch, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 14. L'Anse will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Nordics enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Carney-Nadeau (Carney, MI).
