The Red Springs Red Devils volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Fairmont Golden Tornadoes to 2 in the Red Devils league triumph on Thursday.

The Red Devils now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hoke County for a non-league outing on Monday, September 16. Red Springs will play a Bucks team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Bucks record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Fairmont drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Golden tornadoes host Midway (Dunn, NC) to play the Raiders in a Southeastern Athletic 2A outing on Tuesday, September 17. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 6-3.
