Georgia High School Volleyball - Pickens Fannin County

Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Fannin County improves its record to 19-4 on the season. The Rebels travel to Armuchee (Rome, GA) to face the Indians in a 1A Area 7 test on Tuesday, September 17. The Indians go into the test with a record of 25-1. Armuchee won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Cass (White, GA)

The Dragons now own a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dawson County for a 3A Area 6 test on Tuesday, September 17. Pickens will face a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Banks County (Homer, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-16.
