North Carolina High School Volleyball - Fike over Southern Wayne

In Thursday's league challenge, the host Fike Demons volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Southern Wayne Saints.

The Demons (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Warriors come into the Quad County 3A challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Hunt lost by West Johnston (Benson, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Saints meet the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC) in a Quad County 3A challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Southern Wayne will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Golden Falcons come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 3-2 league win over Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC).
