The Groves Rebels volleyball squad (Garden City, GA), was defeated 2-0 in Thursday's league battle with the host Liberty County Panthers (Hinesville, GA)

With the win, Liberty County improves its record to 11-11 on the season. The Panthers host Johnson (Savannah, GA) to encounter the Atomsmashers in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. The Atomsmashers go into the battle with a record of 4-8.

The Rebels now own a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Windsor Forest for a 3A Area 3 battle on Tuesday, September 17. Groves will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Liberty County (Hinesville, GA). The Knights record now stands at 4-6.
