Lanier Christian Academy Lightning (Flowery Branch, GA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Pinecrest Academy Paladins (Cumming, GA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Lanier Christian Academy advances its record to 12-2 on the season. The Lightning travel to North Hall (Gainesville, GA) to face the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 14-11. North Hall lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA)

The Paladins now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Killian Hill Christian for a GAPPS DI-AA Region 2 test on Tuesday, September 17. Pinecrest Academy will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Fulton Science Academy (Alpharetta, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-10.
