The Mackay Miners volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Leadore Mustangs to 2 in the Miners league triumph on Thursday.

The Miners now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they host West Jefferson for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 14. Mackay will play a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sugar-Salem (Sugar City, ID). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.
