Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Montgomery County improves its record to 13-7 on the season. The Indians host George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY) to face the Cardinals in a District 40 test on Tuesday, September 17. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 7-4.

The Royals now own a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Patrick for a District 39 test on Saturday, September 14. Mason County will face a Saints squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY). The Saints record now stands at 0-7.
