The Putnam City Pirates volleyball squad (Oklahoma City, OK), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Midwest City Bombers (Midwest City, OK)
With the win, Midwest City improves its record to 8-7 on the season. The Bombers travel to Enid (Enid, OK) to encounter the Plainsmen in a Big Eight Star battle on Tuesday, September 17. The Plainsmen go into the battle with a record of 4-10.
The Pirates now own a 0-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harding Prep for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 14. Putnam City will encounter a squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bethany (Bethany, OK). The record now stands at 5-4.
