In Thursday's league challenge, the host Whittier RVT Wildcats volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Mystic Valley Regional Eagles.

The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pentucket Regional (West Newbury, MA). The enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Pentucket Regional was tipped by North Reading (North Reading, MA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Pioneer Charter School of Science Panthers (Everett, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Mystic Valley Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Brooke (Boston, MA).
