Perth Amboy Panthers (Perth Amboy, NJ) supporters were in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball team top the visiting South River Rams (South River, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league contest.

The Panthers (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wardlaw Hartridge (Edison, NJ). The Rams enter the Greater Middlesex-Blue contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Wardlaw Hartridge was knocked off by Timothy Christian (Piscataway, NJ), 2-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Rams battle the Edison Eagles (Edison, NJ) in a Greater Middlesex - White contest, on Friday, September 13. South River will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 league win over South Plainfield (South Plainfield, NJ).
