The Valley Christian Defenders topped the host Whittier Christian Heralds volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Defenders face the Ontario Christian Knights (Ontario, CA) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 16. Valley Christian will attempt to advance on its 15-2 season record. The Knights go into the game with a 12-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Linfield Christian (Temecula, CA).

The Heralds (3-14) will now prepare for their game against Heritage Christian (Northridge, CA). The Warriors go into the Olympic game with a 14-5 record. In their last game, Heritage Christian gained a win over Maranatha (Pasadena, CA), 3-1, in a league game.
