Iowa High School Football - North Polk holds off A-D-M

The North Polk Comets football squad scored 38 points and limited the visiting A-D-M Tigers to 37 in the Comets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Comets now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pella for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. North Polk will clash with a Dutch squad coming off a 10-3 non-league win over North Scott (Eldridge, IA). The Dutch record now stands at 3-0.

The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA). The Bluejays enter the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Bondurant-Farrar was edged by Newton (Newton, IA), 48-13, in a non-league game.
