Ohio High School Football - Mt. Gilead sneaks past Danville

September 12, 2025: Mt. Gilead, OH 43338

The Mt. Gilead Indians football squad scored 26 points and restricted the visiting Danville Blue Devils to 22 in the Indians league win on Friday.

In their next game, the Indians face the Fredericktown Freddies (Fredericktown, OH) in a Knox Morrow challenge, on Friday, September 19. Mt. Gilead will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Freddies go into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 21-0 league win over Cardington-Lincoln (Cardington, OH).

The Blue Devils (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Northmor (Galion, OH). The Golden Knights go into the Knox Morrow test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Northmor was nipped by Centerburg (Centerburg, OH), 44-27, in a league test.
