South Dakota High School Football - Great Plains Lutheran crushed by Hamlin

Hamlin Chargers (Hayti, SD) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Great Plains Lutheran Panthers (Watertown, SD), 48-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Hamlin improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Chargers travel to Florence/Henry (Florence, SD) to play the Falcons in a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 0-3. Florence/Henry lost 53-0 in their recent non-league battle against Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD)

The Panthers now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Elkton/Lake Benton for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Great Plains Lutheran will meet a Elks squad coming off a 65-20 non-league win over DeSmet (DeSmet, SD). The Elks record now stands at 3-1.
