The Hope Blue Wave football squad scored 49 points and limited the host Tiverton Tigers to 0 in the Blue Wave league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Wave now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Toll Gate for a Division IV test on Saturday, September 20. Hope will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 14-8 league loss to Juanita Sanchez Complex (Providence, RI). The Titans record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Tiverton drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Smithfield (Esmond, RI) to clash with the Sentinels in a Division IV test on Friday, September 19. The Sentinels come into the test with a record of 1-1. Smithfield lost 42-0 in their recent non-league test against Tri-County RVT (Franklin, MA)
