Pennsylvania High School Football - Schuylkill Valley nips Kutztown

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Schuylkill Valley Panthers (Leesport, PA) and the host Kutztown Cougars (Kutztown, PA), witnessed Schuylkill Valley's football squad edge Kutztown by a tally of 35-28.

The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Pequea Valley (Kinzers, PA). The Braves go into the Lancaster-Lebanon 5 bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Pequea Valley was tipped by Berks Catholic (Reading, PA), 41-0, in a league bout.

The Cougars now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Hamburg for a Lancaster-Lebanon 5 bout on Friday, September 19. Kutztown will encounter a Hawks team coming off a 42-0 league loss to Annville-Cleona (Annville, PA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-3.
