Pine Bluffs Hornets (Pine Bluffs, WY) boosters left the game content Friday as they observed their football squad top the host Rocky Mountain Grizzlies (Cowley, WY), 26-14 in a non-league test.
The Hornets now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Big Piney for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 19. Pine Bluffs will face a Punchers team coming off a 51-12 non-league win over Niobrara County (Lusk, WY). The Punchers record now stands at 2-1.
The Grizzlies (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Saratoga (Saratoga, WY). The Panthers go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Saratoga knocked off Wind River (Pavillion, WY), 34-0, in a non-league test.
