Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Cheshire Rams (Cheshire, CT) and the visiting Lyman Hall Trojans (Wallingford, CT), saw Cheshire's soccer squad triumph over Lyman Hall by a count of 8-0.
The Rams (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT). The Governors enter the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Wilbur Cross notched a victory over North Haven (North Haven, CT), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Trojans now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Foran for a non-league match on Wednesday, September 17. Lyman Hall will meet a Lions team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Hand (Madison, CT). The Lions record now stands at 0-3.
