Lake George hosted Bolton Warrensburg for their first home league game of the season. The Lakers came out of the blocks quickly and started putting the Bolton/Warrensburg defense under pressure. They were rewarded after 10 minutes when James Richard fired a low cross for Ricky Stroup to volley home his second goal of the season. Bolton/Warrensburg started to grow into the game and forced the LG defense into some mistakes. They forced LG keeper Marty Farrell into action to keep the score at 1-0. Late in the first half, Lake George was awarded a free kick 30 yards out from the BW goal and junior Nolan Stannard took a long kick that floated over the BW keeper Maris Martin for 2-0. Lake George started the second half quickly and pushed for the third goal, but BW held on to keep the score at 2-0. Both teams traded chances as the game went on, but neither could find the back of the net. The final score would remain 2-0 as the Lakers improve to 2-0 in Adirondack League play.
