The Fort Fairfield Tigers soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Penobscot Valley Howlers to 0 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.
The Tigers now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Hodgdon for a Class D - North bout on Tuesday, September 16. Fort Fairfield will play a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Easton (Easton, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Penobscot Valley moves to 2-1 on the year. The Howlers host Schenck (East Millinocket, ME) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Monday, September 15. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 1-3.
