Colorado High School Softball - Arvada edges Platte Canyon

Spectators at Friday's league contest between the Arvada Bulldogs (Arvada, CO) and the visiting Platte Canyon Huskies (Bailey, CO), saw Arvada's softball squad nip Platte Canyon by a score of 2-0.
With the triumph, Arvada improves its record to 9-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Centaurus (Lafayette, CO) to face the Warriors in a 4A/3A Frontier contest on Tuesday, September 16. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-1.
In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Lyons Lions (Lyons, CO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, September 15. Platte Canyon will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Timnath (Timnath, CO).
