The Blanchard Lions softball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Chickasha Fighting Chicks to 2 in the Lions non-league win on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pauls Valley for a non-league battle on Monday, September 15. Blanchard will confront a Panthers team coming off a 11-6 league win over Madill (Madill, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 14-15.

With the loss, Chickasha moves to 5-7 on the season. The Fighting chicks travel to Cache (Cache, OK) to confront the Bulldogs in a 4A District 2 battle on Monday, September 15. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 18-7. Cache lost 4-0 in their recent non-league battle against Blanchard (Blanchard, OK)
