Colorado High School Softball - Chaparral Cherokee Trail

The Chaparral Wolverines softball squad (Parker, CO), was routed 7-0 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO)

The Cougars (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against Arapahoe (Centennial, CO). The Warriors go into the 5A/4A Centennial bout with a 8-5 record. In their last bout, Arapahoe was routed by Rock Canyon (Highlands Ranch, CO), 6-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wolverines face the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a 5A/4A Continental contest, on Monday, September 15. Chaparral will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the contest with a 5-8 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Chatfield (Littleton, CO).
