The Sherwood Marksmen softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Knob Noster Panthers to 1 in the Marksmen non-league win on Friday.

The Marksmen now possess a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clinton for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. Sherwood will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 10-1 league loss to Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, MO). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Knob Noster moves to 0-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to Lexington (Lexington, MO) to confront the Minutemen in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Minutemen come into the battle with a record of 5-3. Lexington won 7-6 in their recent non-league battle against St. Michael the Archangel (Lee's Summit, MO)
