The Vinal RVT Hawks volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Cheney Tech Chargers to 0 in the Hawks league triumph on Friday.
The Hawks now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Goodwin Tech for a non-league game on Monday, September 15. Vinal RVT will play a Gladiators team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Prince RVT (Hartford, CT). The Gladiators record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Cheney Tech drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Prince RVT (Hartford, CT) to play the Falcons in a Connecticut Technical outing on Monday, September 15. The Falcons come into the outing with a record of 3-2. Prince RVT won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Goodwin Tech (New Britain, CT)
