In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Commerce Red Raiders volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the South Hadley Tigers.

With the win, Commerce improves its record to 1-4 on the season. The Red Raiders travel to Central (Springfield, MA) to face the Golden Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, September 15. The Golden Eagles go into the test with a record of 5-0. Central won 3-0 in their recent league test against East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA)

The Tigers now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holyoke for a non-league test on Monday, September 15. South Hadley will face a Purple Knights squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Chicopee (Chicopee, MA). The Purple Knights record now stands at 3-2.
