Texas High School Volleyball - Fort Bend Elkins can't hold off Fort Bend Travis

The Fort Bend Travis Tigers held off the visiting Fort Bend Elkins Knights volleyball team by a margin of 3-2 in Friday's league outing.

The Tigers now possess a 13-16 record. They play next when they host Fort Bend Austin for a 6A Region III District 21 outing on Tuesday, September 16. Fort Bend Travis will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 league win over Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-16.

With the defeat, Fort Bend Elkins falls to 13-14 on the year. The Knights host Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX) to confront the Broncos in a 6A Region III District 21 match on Tuesday, September 16. The Broncos enter the match with a record of 5-19. Fort Bend Bush lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX)
