Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Hill City Rangers (Hill City, SD) and the host Lakota Tech Tatanka (Pine Ridge, SD), observed Hill City's volleyball team top Lakota Tech by a tally of 2-0.

The Rangers (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD). The Bison enter the A Region 8 contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Hot Springs was beaten by Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tatanka meet the Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Lakota Tech will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Bison go into the test with a 6-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Custer (Custer, SD).
