Texas High School Volleyball - Jourdanton over Hondo

In Friday's league challenge, the host Jourdanton Indians/Squaws volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Hondo Owls.

The Indians/Squaws (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Crystal City (Crystal City, TX). The Javelinas come into the 3A Region IV District 28 challenge with a 16-5 record. In their last challenge, Crystal City beat Natalia (Natalia, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

The Owls now sport a 14-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cotulla for a 3A Region IV District 28 test on Tuesday, September 16. Hondo will face a Cowboys squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Poteet (Poteet, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 6-11.
